We were in lanzarote in April 2010 during the volcanic ash period. We went to Murphy's bar every night.
We had brilliant crack and made alot of friends .
Nice friendly atmosphere the staff tracey jamie frank and sue were brilliant very friendly helpful and always got a great welcome. They looked after my husband Mick and myself for the 2 weeks we were there. The music and the crack were mighty had a great time

was in murphys last week.. having read comments on other bar review site had to here this barry cotter for ourselves.we not people to slag anyone off so the only thing we will say is wish we didnt bother go see him...

Been to Lanzerote many times but first time in Murphy,s bar on this trip Went primarily to see Barry Cotter who is now Appearing on Tuesday nights brillient entertainer love to hear him sing you would go a long way to find better great nights to be had in Murphy,s bar.All the staff are really friendly and welcoming Sue especially Frank the owner is a lovely man who sets the standard.Would highly reccomend this bar do go there you won,t be disappointed especially on a Tuesday to see the great Barry Cotter show

just back from Lanzarote and had some great nights in Murphy,s. Thanks a million gang for been the best and looking after me .Tracey is there to greet everyone that comes in Caroline is very friendly and chatty but the best was Jamie ,for a young man he is the best barman I.ve seen in long time and so mannerly and respectful . I ,ll be telling everyone going to Lanzarote to call for a good night out .See ye all again in August and thanks again

bn 2 Lanza 4 times in18 month and i love Murphys,great music and the staff are brilliant,i use walking sticks.i find its a bit difficult getting up the steps,but the staff always make sure i have a seat and they always bring my Guinness to the table for me,Frank even gave me a lifts home,special thanks to Sue and Tracey,

went to lanza in jan ,weather was brillant .the strip area looked so clean. went to murphys most nights .best pub on the island great craic music-- sean b .the staff are brill -frank ,tracy and jamie .sue and all. heading there again on sun with eamann see u all then .
