Once again visiting Lanzarote I popped in to The Fishermans ,Jimmy was again a very pleasant and cheerful host . Good prices and the new chef Steve produced one of the best curries I have tasted anywhere abroad , also well priced .Definitely be back next year. All the best to Jimmy and Steve in the future.

This is a great place to visit. Paul is a brilliant bloke and despite the lack of custom all around, he always gives you a very friendly welcome. Never mind the local beer at 1,5 Euro, try the Strongbow at 3 Euro. The food is top notch as well and I'll always remember it as the place where I saw Barcelona beat super confident Man Utd.

1.50 euros for a large beer, thats hard to beat in Lanzarote. The bonus is the food in Fishermans is very good and not too expensive. But entertainment provided by Adrain was excellent what a great singer and very funny. The cherry on the cake was Paul the barman, what a friendly guy, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was fantastic, we classed it as our local ( well done paul ). we have just booked for 2 months for next year, thats how good it is, believe me you have to try the place. The owner Jim and Carol makes everyone feel so welcome, thanks guys and a big shout for Rommie the singing chef who sounds better than Elvis. Very well done people

Sept 2008 We have just got back from a fantastic 2 weeks holiday to Puerto Del Carmen, although we didn't want to come back might i add !! 100 out of 100, never mind 10 out of 10 !!! Wonderful friendly hosts, Carol and Jim.. We spent quite a few of our nights eating in The Fisherman's Inn and i cannot recommend it highly enough, the chef Rommy is the best we came across on the Island, boy can he cook a delicious cheese and onion omelette and a cracking chicken curry. Carol and Jim were the friendliest people we came across and a lot of our information came from them as we had never been to Lanzarote before.. Anyone going there, plz plz find the Fisherman's Inn and go and have a meal, you WILL NOT be disappointed.. Thank you Carol and Jim for your hospitality and when we come back ( and we WILL be back ) be sure we will come for a curry lol.. All the very best. Gina, Martin, Mary and The Wee Man xxxx Los Pueblos Apartments..

After returning for a second year as a regular in the Fishermans Inn, i only wish i could rate it higher than 10. The food was amazing and Jim and Carol couldnt have made us feel more at home again; going above and beyond what was required many times. If your looking for a friendly atmosphere and somewhere with absolute quality then i recommend it fully. Don't go to PDC without paying a visit or you will most certainly regret it! We will definately be coming back next year! Oh and by the way, Jim and Carol. my grades came out at BBC, i ace'd my history and english exams this year, so im going to Northumbria university!

Just back from a weeks stay in the Aquarius Apartments yesterday and can't say enough good things about this bar. The host (Jim) & hostess (Carol) go out of there way to make you feel very welcome - and easily succeed. Any time I was there for a refreshment or three I always enjoyed chatting with some really friendly people. And thats exactly the type of bar it is friendly, relaxing, lively and good fun. Thanks Jim & Carol for the kind hospitality shown last Wednesday night, and although it was disappointing we still had a great night. My only regret is I never made it in more often - oh well next time for sure. Cheers from Blackpool.

Been to this bar many times in the last year since Carol and Jim took it over and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a nice welcome , good food and a great atmosphere in a bar. Carol and Jim go out of their way to make you feel at home and even the kids are well catered for. The other guy who was in the bar, they called him JR has now moved on I believe and I can say that will only be good for the place so it gets better and better. I will certainly be back and best wishes to Carol and Jim for the future....you donᄡt need anyone else!

Well all I can say is we cannot praise this pub enough - we were on holiday in PDC the week leading up to Christmas 2007 and had an absolute ball due to the hospitality of Jim & Carol and Jimmy. Again, we cannot praise the meals made by Rommie enough or the breakfasts made by Jim either. Out of our seven day holiday we ate at night at the pub 3 times. The pub is immaculate, the staff are very laid back and extremely friendly (in fact the day we were leaving a tear was shed). Would recommend this bar to everyone who is going on holiday to PDC. I know we will certainly be back as soon as we can to visit the guys again. If there was a higher rating than 10 we would give it!!
