Puerto del Carmen Bar Reviews

I went to this bar to watch the Spurs v Villarreal friendly in July which I saw advertised on the blackboard outside the bar the night before the match. When I arrived I ordered drinks which were served quickly so I started to watch the match. Later after 75 minutes of the match had been played the television was turned off and a DVD was put on instead so I left the bar almost immediately. I have never returned to this bar and never will.

Came to Lanzarote 2 years ago and this was by far the best bar we went to! The staff were so friendly and the setting was perfect for a quiet drink in the evening, or at lunchtime! We had drinks here almost every night and after visiting other bars we always came back! I don't understand some of the other comments, there didn't seem to be an 'in crowd' there and if there was we weren't in it but still were treated to the same excellent service! Would love to come back one day, The Dog and Duck is definately one of our best memories from our stay in Lanzarote. Keep up the good work! :)

Dog and Duck is great pub to relax and enjoy a few drinks always enjoyed. Small world working with Steve Cash every day we comment how lovely the square is for a few bevies. It nice to remember a good drink and a laugh. Steve and his girlfriend compliment this place every day and I agree. So till the next visit we are all hoping it won't be long....you never know we may win the lottery on wednesday and will be straight over. In the meantime we will keep on working towards our next holiday. Lanzarote is a beautiful place full of lovely friends to remember and visit often. Cheers me dears until we return.

I do a bit of work for the PO in Sheffield so got talking to the owner one sunny afternoon last week, truly nice fella and really friendly. We also came back in at night and met a lovely girl called Emma behind the bar, she was equally as friendly as the owner and even put my daughter Olivia's drawing right in the middle of kiddies corner. Dog & Duck was a lovely, clean bar and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting PDC.

Hi emma, thankyou very much for being great hosts whilst we were on holiday in August .Keith has worn his t shirt a few times since we came home we will have to send you the photos. The welcome in this pub was brill and youn will find it quite hard to find a better team of people who bend over backwards to help you.Thanks emma for all the help with the restaurants that would cater for for my coeliacs thankyou very much.Hope to see you all again soon or whenever you come back to Carlisle give us a call. we have been visiting the dog and duck for 6 years sometimes twice a year and have always found it to be a great place,friendly and welcomeing. we carnt belive some of the comments that have been put on here genuine or not we think they are harsh and surely if it was that bad people wouldnt waste there time bothering to comment. we are visiting again in 2 weeks and the d & d will be our first port of call so get the gin and tonic and dorada stocked up phil,carnt wait to see u all again january seems ages ago! see u on the 4th x x x x x
