we went back in june and introduced our sister and brother in law they have not stopped talking about the bar since we got back home

By far the best bar in puerto del carmen ! Ronnie and Sharron are legends, some of the warmest and frendliest people iv'e ever met.It has a really warm and inviting feel to it,after 30 mins here it becomes your local !.The Highlander was the best thing about my holiday,and credit has to be given to Ronnie and Sharron they work hard but make it look easy.Ronnie is a full time barmancomedian you will laugh till you cry with him,Sharron (the more sensible of the pair) will give you tips on treating your sunburn lol.thanks for that.All in all the highlander has the personal touch that nowadays is really hard to find at home or abroad.I would highly recomend it as one of the best bars anywhere in the world. Thanks Ronnie and Sharon for helping to make our holiday such a great time. Went several times especially to the shows with Adrian on Saturday and Tuesday. Adrian sang all our type of music and also did requests. Drinks very reasonable at 2 Euros for an ice cold pint and the food was very good and freshly cooked. 14/02/10 just got back after a weeks holiday in lanzarote the highlander pub was the highlight of our week good hosts (ronnie+sharron) god ale cheapest we found and ronnies home made chips to die for,if you are in puerto del carmen look up this bar for a good night out (or dinner time )

just got back from lanza and spent a lot of time in the Highlander with Ronnie and Sharon and enjoyed every minute or as much as i can remember. Small but cosy bar and the host is second to none.

Just got back used the bar regular, good food especialy ronny,s home made chips, made me and my wife sharon very welcome. good cheap prices, cheers ronny and sharron see ya soon. Mark and Sharon. from ull.

Have been in PDC many times over several years and visited The Highlander on each visit and you still receive a warm welcome from staff. Drink prices very good probably best in the area, fare choice of food ,Hearty breakfast . stays open till the wee small hours in the morning.worth a visit when in the old town, up the hill from the harbour ,all the best to Ronnie(the owner) Rachael and Matty

My daughter Amy loved the highlander especially Rachael and Matty.great food,great staff,cheap drink,will come back for sure!
