Hi everyone, just to let you know that the soul sister bar has now been taken over and is now called the "Welcome Inn",. the decoration is once again fantastic and the bar now offer 60's 70's and 80's music. Live music and competitions,quiz nights and special events. the athmosphere is fantastic, kids welcome, drink prices are same as most places and it is open until the wee hours of the morning just to make sure your great night does not end early, JR and B will make sure you have a great evening and even arrange for curry or food of your choice to be delivered for you to the bar to take home with you when you leave the bar in the early hours. The bar is really well worth checking out for a long and great night.

i have been going to soul sisters since it first opened and i love it it as to be one of the best bars in town(if you like soul music) and the drinks are reasonable priced. also children have always been welcome. michelle is a great host and heather is always vey friendly. a no dought i will be there tonight with my daughter and friends. so watch out leroy here we come.

What a classy and wicked bar!
The owner, Michelle, was a diamond and was so welcoming, so much infact the 2 of us and her were sitting at the bar until 5.30 one night!!
The decor is lovely, the drinks are quite reasonably priced (re the other poster ~ 14 euros for a beer and vat?!), a large beer and a VERY large Southern Comfort and Lemonade was 9 euros.
If you want cheap beer, then I suppose a 2 euro pint and watching TV in a bar maybe more suitable, but sitting in this bar, we didn't care what the prices were ~ we were on holiday and out to spoil ourselves a little :o)
We saw 2 great soul singers on the Friday and Saturday night so if soul is your thing, then it's the place for you!
Children are very much welcome, I don't know if this has always been the case but familes are definitely welcome now.

very expensive bar i oorderd 1 pint of larger and a small vat the price was 14 euros the 2nd most expensive bar i have found i wil not be back in there agaian and no kids are allowed in at any time
