we were at the apartments in july 09, we have read the reviews from everyone else who has left one, and I dont know If their all reading off the same hym sheet! first of all we shared the apartment with a family of roaches and a very nice moald mural on the wall.
iam not going to mention the cats, the food was crap and the pool and poolbar was very dirty,the sunbeds were dirty, and the hosts were rude, the same cd was played everyday allday, the only thing this apartment complex and poolbar has to offer is the views!. sorry to be blunt people but it was a waste of my money!

I would recommend Balcon Del Mar to anyone going to Lanzarote. The Owners of the pool bar Rachel and Jason are two of the nicest people i have ever met. The bar is spotless and the food is lovely. I am looking forward to going back to balcon del mar again soon.

The BEST Pool Bar on the Island, excellant service, Rachel & Jason make you feel so welcome, just love the Irish Burgers they are to die for.....Reasonable priced, and we were always met with a smile.
Try Dooleys in the Old town...great guy called Chris runs it

the best pool bar on the island.rachel and jason are so welcoming.the grub is good,the beer is cold.all in all a nice,very clean and reasonable priced bar.thank you to the skinners for making our hols an enjoyable one

Looking at the comments you two really made a good job of pleasing everyone!
i loved it there!
i have been twice now and i so want to go again i no Jason is my Daddy and Rachel is my step mum but.. who cares about that because if i dint like it i would say that but i really did if you are hesitating going over Lanzarote and staying at Belcon Del Mar DONT it is amazing they are always willing to talk to you and help you enjoy your holiday!!
The food is excelent i didn't think my dad could cook but he proved me wrong!
IF YOU GO THERE YOU HAVE TO TRY THE CHEESE TOASTIES THEY ARE MINT!!

Well worth several visits, warm friendly welcome to all ages, relaxed atmosphere, helpful, lovely people, reasonably priced menu, spotlessly clean, ideal location, would recommend to anyone staying in Peurto Del Carmen, Lynne & Barrie from Wales
