Haven't been to Lanzarote for a couple of years now but are looking to book to go there next May. Im gutted that Ricks Bar with Gary and Anita wont be there. Having been going to Lanzarote for over 11 years we always visit Ricks whilst there. We celebrated our sons 21st birthday in Ricks and our 25th wedding anniversary! Both were top nights and left us with many happy memories! Even remember when Vic was the DJ there!! Good luck where ever you go Gary and Anita and please let everyone know if you get another bar so we can all visit you! Can anyone recommend another bar with the same atmosphere as Rick's!!??

Lanzo wont be the same without Ricks all the best Gary & Anita, we will be out in Feb as usual. Let us know what you are up to next. Whatever it is, all the best and thanks for the last five years.

This is the end of an era, in our numerous visits to Lanzarote, we always make a bee-line for Ricks Bar (even when we've been to Teguise!) I mainly got the pish taken out of me in here, but the Blackpool lad (Gary) and his mate behind the bar (Leeds fan) were always up for a laugh, we're truly gutted that the friendliest bar in PDC is about to close. Rick/Gary/Leeds, if you're still there please tell us where you're going, we're flying over for a fortnight new years eve morning, me and the family would love to meet up and buy you a pint. What can i say?, Gary and Anita , you will be so missed. I had such a great time in Ricks Bar whenever i was in Lanzarote, and in the last 3 years that was alot!!. So... no more walking in and hearing "how is it Plymouth?" and on answering i hear "correct , get yourself a shot!". As Irene said below, good luck with whatever you choose to do next and hopefully i'll bump into you when im over in October.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! You cant be leaving Ricks we are coming over on the 5th of November Where are we going to now?? Seriously Shane and I had the best fun ever with you guys in Ricks and will miss it, the holiday wont be the same without you.
