When you are visiting Lanzarote, one of the best ways to travel the Island and to see what it has to offer is to Hire a Car.
They are many places you can stop off to hire from at the Airport it's self to the car hire shops located near most Apartments.
The prices for car hire can vary but you can get a car from as little as 15 euros per day.
Some pointers before hiring a car:-
Driving in Lanzarote is on the Right-hand side of the road.
Most Petrol Stations will not accept credit cards so ensure you carry some money.
Always Carry your driver's Licence, Passport and Rental Agreement. You can be fined for each document missing by the police!
Always wear your Seat belts in the car (front and rear) there is an on the spot fine if caught by the police not using the seat belt!
You have to be at least 21 years old to hire a Car.
