What colour are the beaches in Lanzarote / Puerto Del Carmen?

Although the Island of Lanzarote is a volcanic one, the main beaches are golden. There are some which are mainly rocks/black beaches but just about all tourist beaches are golden sand.

A long time ago the sand was imported from other countries in order to give tourist the golden beaches they wanted, in time though, all these beaches are being replenished by winds carrying sand (Sand Storm / Calima) from the near by deserts.
