The Flat Boat is a well known restaurant in the old town and is ran and own by Spanish. They have a large selection of food and is one of the cheapest restaurants in the Old Town. If you are looking for a typical Spanish restaurant this is one not to be missed. |

well, yes it is cheap compared to most of the restaurants, but hey you get what you pay for...Had to ASK for cutlery 3 times after my starter arrived, the veg was out of the freezer, would rather pay a bit more and have fresh, Also ordered two brandies 3 times before they actually arrived, and then they aded these to the wrong bill so then had to sort that out at the end.
Was not impressed, they were literally just throwing the order at you and disapearing, will go back to lanzarote, but not here!

Probably the best value for money in the PDC area, we have had many excellent meals here & have tried most things on the menu. Only downside the seats are a bit incomfortable.

Disappointed heard some good reviews about the Flat Boat, the kebab on skewers meat cooked nicely but the veg and chips let it down. Asked for chicken in pepper sauce and ended up with chicken in mushroom sauce!

How disappointing. Spent a long time finding this restaurant but wish we hadn't bothered.
Frozen sprouts, carrots and peas - disaster.
Nobody else there - surprising because it was cheap.

Definately our favourite place in Old Town PDC. This is a very traditional bar restaraunt. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food is yummy and will not break the bank. We started with Canarian Potatoes with a trio of Mojo sauces and Prawns in sizzling garlic oil with hot crusty bread to soak up the sauce. For main I chose the grilled Tuna with potatoes and salad. I had two large slices of Tuna cooked very nicely. Brian had a Fillet Steak with Pepper sauce cooked perfectly as requested Medium rare and big fat chips with mixed veg.. We washed this down with Four large glasses(pints) of ice cold cerveza. 32 Euros total. Bargain. So impressed went again. Try the Mussels in their Marinera sauce, oh my- very nice.
