Just back from a trip to Puerto del carmen and El Tomate was a big dissapointment. Rude staff, dreadfully slow service and below standard food. We have eaten there before and we were shocked at how down hill it has gone.

Love the chateaubriand in this restaurant and visit twice a year. The staff ate very rude and I have to say that this really was more than evident when I last visited on march 3rd. The 'ladies' are very gruff and I must say theywould deter me from visiting again.

This restaurant is very tasteful inside and the food is excellent. I have visited this restaurant many times during the past 8 years and have never been disappointed. The chateaubrian is wonderful.

We visited El Tomate while in PdC in 2001. We returned in Oct 2007 and weren't dissapointed. The food was lovely and the staff friendly. A good choice of restaurant.
