Hi vian and carol
at last i got around to making a comment.better known as jimjam,not coming to lanzarote this time,going to turkey but
we will miss your food,steak and snail pie,and your great desserts,and not to mention yourself and carol you both
make a great team,the place would not be the same without
you both,you make your customers so welcome,looking

We walked past Russells a couple of weeks ago and it had a notice in the window saying that it had closed due to the Island being quiet. Don't know if it's terminal or temp though.

Used to go to Russels up until he closed a couple of years ago. The food was always good and Vian put his own 'stamp' on the place with his unique entertainmaent factor. We were very disappointed when we found he had closed when we went back the other year.
Then last year he was back !! If things can get better, they did.
Carol and Vian make the perfect partnership, good food, good entertainment and very reasonable prices.
If you want to sample some really good tradidional food as well as local fare, Russels is a must.
We are off to Lanz in a few weeks and guess where our first port of call will be - you guessed it - Russels.

Russels food is excellent and would highly recommend it
vian's way of introducing people to each other is great fun
and makes for a very amicable and friendly night.
will certainly be making return visits on our next holiday

ate here twice over the week we were in Lanzarote, great character running the place, and even though it was busy the comments and entertainment from the owner didn;t cease!
The food was good too, we had fillet steak on the first visit which was really lovely and tender, and on the second visit we had beef wellington(order 24hours in advance) which was huge, and the sauce/gravy that came with it was fabulous too!
Bottle of house wine was only 8euros too, bargain compared to other restaurants.
Will definately visit again!

Hi Vian and Carol. Yet again we had a great holiday in PDC and two great nights at Russells. We were over the moon that Vian and Carol had opened up again. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. Vian's entertainment was included free in the price of a great night out.
The desserts were to die for and the main courses (chicken curry with chips/rice or 50/50) were lovely.
You need to experience this place for yourselves. Will be definitely going back on our next visit. Sian (Molly and Alan's daughter) and family. xx
