Puerto del Carmen Restaurants

Bodecos is a Irish / Polish restaurant located close to the harbour in the old town of Puerto del Carmen. This restaurant offers a good selection of food and drinks.

We tried Bodecos on a recommendation. The decor, ambiance and staff were lovely. Sadly the food was not. We had the "home made" (?) pate and garlic prawns to start which was ok, followed by chicken Kiev which was dry and overcooked and the pork loin, which was tender but the sweet sauce was overpowering. The chips were good though. Over 60ﾬ including wine, for 2 which is not cheap. We were disappointed The

We found this restaurant on our way to another reataurant, what a find as four of us were vegetarian the menu was excellent, my husband a big meat and fish fan thought the stew was fantastic, the staff very friendly, beautiful restaurant.

we have visited bodecos every night of our two weeks holiday, the food is just fantastic, fresh and tasty. I had lamb stew 5 times but i was embarrced so i had to try other dishes, and it was great. The fish in beer batter is just like ive never tasted before, and the pork chop, so big and yet tasty. I have been to bodecos since they opened first time 7 years ago and always good. thenk you for a lovely time and we will see you next year.

Just fantastic, fresh food, delicious sweets, ambience is great. We went with our 6 year old daughter and we loved it, the best meal we have had since Saturdy being on lanzarote. We are just sorry that we did not go there earlier, but we are coming back to Lanzarote in January and we will visit bodecos .Bo, we would like to thank you for looking after us

We were recommended by our parents to visit Bodecos, we have enjoyed our romantic evening with very tasty food and sweets, we had to go back three times and each time was as good as first time.Next year we are coming back with our parents to celebrate our first year marriage, and we definetly do it in Bodecos, just superb.

We were recommended by our friends that we have to dine in bodecos, what a find, we ate there twice only because we found it to late.Very homely atmosphere, food is just like my mum made it , possibly even better.Its not just polish food, there is a mixture of everything, the vegetarian menu is fantastic . When we came back second time we were little worried that it will not be the same as last night, because generally its not.And to our suprise it was even better. I wish Bo would open same restaurant in birmingham , We are coming back to Lanzarote next year and we told Bo that we will be back to sample more.Thank you Bodecos

Although I cant help you with the receipe Hayley, I can confirm that the Stroganoff is 100% Polish. I aske Bo when we eat in here January. Best meal we had in our fortnight in PDC. I'm sure Bo would let you into her secret receipe's if you asked!

lovely restaurant with fantastic food. just returned from 7 nights in PDC where we ate here twice. i had the beef stroganoff on our second visit which was to die for. does anybody know if this is a traditional polish recipie? the only ones i can find are the creamery ones which this wasn't. also does anyone know what this dish is served with? it was like pancake thingy. yum yum
