Emma had many good reviews on this site and other, giving the real mexican cuisine in Lanzarote.

Food is much better in the Tomatissismo. Didnt like Mamma Carlas or Emmas Cantina. Much more comfortable and better athmosphere. Food and service much better.

A friend of mine, told me about this restaurant, we tried with my family and it was fabulous-
The place is romantic, service was good, food perfect.
ate many times, EmaCatntinas and MammaCarla, are the best restaurants in PDC.
if you like mexican or italian cuisine these are the right places.

Thank you so much to the other reviewers , as when I read restaurants to visit, this was on my " must visit " list.
We have just returned to N.Ireland , 06/04/10, after a lovely week in
Lanzarote.
There are many restaurants of course, went to the old town of pdc.
we ate in three places EMMA ,PINOCCHIO and MAMMA CARLA.
we had a brilliant dinners.
there are different places but the best we found as reasonablypriced.
Emma very spicy, MAMMA CARLA good pizza and pasta(LASAGNA)

Love Mexican love Emmas a little hidden gem up from the harbour, not one single complaint about this restaurant, went back twice while only here for 1wk individualistic service not just a number or euros on a seat we were real people getting real service, and emmas real mexican cuisine, try the chilli nachos for starter yummmmmmmmmmmmmy dont miss this little restaurant.

Having lived on the island for a few years We visited Emmas the other night ,it was excellent, everything about it was first class pity we never went before but from now on will be a regular visitor, great food ,great service worth a try in anybodies books thanks to all there.

On one of the restaurant reviews a guest comments that one of the restaurants at the harbour has some of the finest food in the world and we have often agreed, that was until we found Emmas and we now go for all of our 'best' meals to this hidden gem. Excellent food, well served and with a great host as well. Whatever you do, go and try this place but do it early in your trip - you will then have time to go back and try something else!!!

Just returned from Lanzarote and ate at this restaurant about 5 times in 3 weeks and it was the most amazing mexican food we have ever eaten. Emma is an amazing authentic cook and you should make a visit to this place. Mike is also a great host and Paula the waitress is lovely. A definite must whilst in Lanzarote
